What keeps an entrepreneur going?
Samyadeep De, Founder, TRICYCLE strongly stated, “Most importantly there is one spirit that binds all entrepreneurs together is that we are fighters.” He shared that the reason TRICYCLE exists is because of the belief in entrepreneurship. Undeniably, taking care of one’s physical and mental health is very important as when you are working on building a start-up, you have to keep facing many struggles that may put a toll on your life.
“If you cannot take care of yourself, you cannot take care of your company,” stated Sahil Gupta, CEO, Aveya Fertility. He recommends the need to find a balance and make it work. He thinks, “As a community, entrepreneurs need to come together and communicate with each other. We have to build this capacity to empathize with other entrepreneurs.” He added, “We need to not take ourselves very seriously. There are going to be challenges and fluctuations.” Janardan Pandey, Founder, Nett Value also reiterate: “Our health defines our mental fitness. Next, the important thing is the connection.” He added, “Talking, helping, communicating with each other is going to help a lot.”
Looking ahead, Pandey stated, “I am sure there is going to be a lot of opportunities because there will be problems.” Prem Saini, Founder & CEO, Saino First Network reminded a critical point: “If your customers are happy, revenue will come eventually.” “Entrepreneurship is not a destination, it is a journey,” Saini said.
