Entrepreneur’s Organization Hyderabad Chapter hosted the Global Student Entrepreneurs Awards (GSEA) Local Competition at T-Hub, Hyderabad. Vennela P of Law School 101 won the competition with Kushagra Srivastava of Chakr Innovation winning as the 1st runner up followed by Surya Subhash of Primeauth India Pvt Ltd. The trio collectively won a prize package of INR.10 Lakh which includes cash, business services and mentorship.
There were 23 participants, all undergraduate students from various recognised colleges and universities. As an eligibility criterion, students were needed to be primarily responsible for the operation of a business that has been operating for no less than six consecutive months. They were given an opportunity to present their business and entrepreneurial journey in front of an elite panel of judges who are industry experts.
The winners will now compete at the Regional Finals which will be held at Ahmedabad, Gujarat on March 10, 2017. Those who clinch the Regional Finals will attend the main GSEA Finals to compete with the world’s top student entrepreneurs and have a chance to win over US$40,000 in cash and donated business services.
