Vroom, a US-based online used-vehicle retailer lays off 11 per cent of its workforce which is around 120 employees, across different departments, according to media reports. 

Media reports reveal that the company said in a US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing, the job cut is part of an 'organisational restructuring' that Vroom has implemented as part of a review of 'all aspects of the business'.

The company will continue to hire for critical positions and employees affected will receive severance packages and job placement assistance.
