UClean, India’s largest integrated laundry and cleaning solutions company announced its second round of pre-series A funding of INR 4 Crores from a US-based angel investor, Anubhav Chopra. As part of the deal, Anubhav has also invested in setting up the first ever “UClean Select” studio. UClean Select is the ‘full stack live dry cleaning’ offering from the UClean stable which offers premium dry cleaning and maintenance services for delicate and ornamental clothes and leather-based premium products like bags. The first ever UClean Select studio has come up in the posh Defence Colony area of Delhi and marks the entry of UClean in the niche dry clean segment.UCleanalso launched its Android and iOS apps for convenience of last minute bookings and quick doorstep services. Brand ambassadors and UClean strategic partners Soha Ali Khan & Kunal Khemu inaugurated their first UClean Select studio.

UClean was incubated in October 2016 by initial seed investment from Franchise India and Mumbai based investor Rajiv Jalan, andcontinues to grow very aggressively through the franchising route.

We would be building UClean Select on the lines of UClean through the franchise route and would be targeting around 50 franchises of UClean Select by 2020.”

This is his first investment in the offline brick & mortar space and he was specially attracted by the fascinating growth shown by the brand in such a short time!
