Swiggy Shuts Down The Bowl Company In Delhi NCR
Swiggy a leading cloud kitchen shuts its Delhi NCR operations, but will continue to be operational in Southern cities
Online food delivery platform Swiggy shuts’ The Bowl Company’ a cloud kitchen in Delhi NCR.
Swiggy confirms the shutdown of The Bowl Company, which had its outlets in Delhi and Noida, calling the initial launch an experiment. The company was operating till the first week of November 2022. Some of the other brands that also shut down were Breakfast Express and Goodness Kitchen.
According to the media reports, The Bowl Company was an experiment to bring new food experiences. However, the company will continue to invest and grow the company in cloud kitchens in cities like Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad.
The reports also mentioned that Swiggy looks at focusing on its cloud Kitchen business in southern cities such as Bengaluru and Chennai where the technology adoption is higher in comparison to Northern cities. In these cities, the firm is also adding some new private labels such as Soul Rasa and Stuffed in cities like Bengaluru and Chennai.
