Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the state and local authorities have to join hands with the centre to improve the ease of doing business and provide a conducive environment for entrepreneurs. She also stressed that the ease of doing business is a combined responsibility of the state and local bodies, not only of the central government.
Sitharaman was interacting with students from various coaching institutes at Kota in Rajasthan. She assured the students that the government is working towards increasing the number of medical and engineering seats and also focussing on making the students job ready.
The FM also addressed a credit outreach programme in the parliamentary constituency of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. She announced that bank loans worth Rs 1,500 crore would be provided to people of Kota-Bundi under various schemes for their self-reliance and empowerment of women and the poor.
