Startupbootcamp, the global network of industry-focused startup accelerators, announced the launch of itsStartupbootcamp FinTech program in Mumbai in September 2016. After a series of roadshows, called Fast Track days, across India and the world, including Dubai, London, Cape Town and Tel Aviv, Startupbootcamp has hand-picked 20 FinTech startups for its 3 day long Selection Days event, which will kick-off on January 18 in Mumbai.

The event will serve as a platform for these companies to gain valuable insights on multiple facets of running a startup. Eminent stalwarts from the industry will engage with these 20 companies during the Section Days and over 50 mentors will conduct a series of workshops for the participants. Notable leaders from ICICI Bank, ICICI Lombard, RBL Bank, AZB & Partners and PwC and eminent industry stalwarts such as Vikram Sud (Angel Investor), Manish Maheshwari (Network18 Digital), Bhavik Vasa (ITZ Cash), Hitesh Soni (Oracle India), Varun Vummudi (PayU), Amit Kapoor (AirPay), Aditya Mishra (SwitchMe), Karan Bhatia (X10 Finance), Gagan Singla (Angel Broking) and Aniruddha Dange (IIFL) will provide invaluable feedback to the startups during the mentor sessions.

10 startups will be selected for a three month long acceleration program at the end of the Selection Days. The program is a unique opportunity for startups to learn from thought leaders and industry experts from Startupbootcamp’s global network. The selected startups will collaborate with an extensive network of mentors, partners, and investors to build world class FinTech companies, with the ultimate goal of becoming leading players in the financial ecosystem. They will also receive a grant of INR 1.1 million, office space in the heart of Mumbai, and access to a global network of investors and VCs.
