He along with Co-founder Anupriya Nayyar, started Stallion Barware in 2014 where they got into designing and making unbreakable drinkware for hotels and restaurants. Today, the brand creates an irresistible line-up of unbreakable cups and glasses that are too hard to resist and impossible to break. PS: they are made in India, proudly!

“Hotel owners and professional bartenders loved the unbreakable value proposition we offered coupled with great design and a vast range of drinking glasses to choose from. They found using the unbreakable wine flutes, pilsners, cocktail glasses and cups good for their guests, good for the employees and great for our planet. Soon making homes unbreakable and shatterproof became our calling too. Today, we're known for adding an unbreakable look through designer drinkware that makes serving and hosting guests a stylish experience,” added Anupriya. 

Glassware breakage has been a widespread problem, one that creates a major safety hazard. Also, it is heart-breaking when a single piece from an expensive set of drinking glasses breaks and leaves the remaining pieces incomplete. Until Stallion made its beginning, the only alternative to glass and ceramic-ware was melamine. Melamine, though widely used in today’s homes, is neither 100% food safe, nor environment friendly and recyclable across its lifecycle. The material is particularly harmful when heated in the microwave.

This very problem statement led to the creation of Stallion Barware. Stallion drinkware is unlike any other glass or drinkware out there. Unlike real glass, polycarbonate glasses by Stallion never chip or break, making them ideal for entertaining anywhere, anytime. Besides making them unbreakable, the brand has taken special care at the design level and added a designer look and twist to each piece. There are interesting drinkware combinations with wooden platters, caddies and coasters that complement the cups & glasses and create a warm setup on the serving tables. 

The brand’s tagline – DO NOT HANDLE WITH CARE sums up what makes it so interesting. It stems from the philosophy that hosts and homemakers deserve drinkware that keeps them hassle free so they can focus on the experience of serving than worrying about handling with care. 

Stallion Barware proudly contributes to the ‘Make in India’ initiative. Some of its clients include the Modi government, where the brand customised unbreakable chai and tea cups for ‘Chai pe charcha’ hosted by Amit Shah ji. Moet Chandon, the French wine brand, Bira, Bacardi, Absolut are some marquee clients in the B2B space. Stallion is also known for creating thoughtful and unbreakable corporate gifts for RPG Group, Raymond, Alkem, Sun Pharma, Taj Group of Hotels among others. For the retail space, Stallion has an in-house marketing team which addresses Digital marketing and E-commerce platforms. Stallion’s digital interactions have increased by 600% in the last year. Currently it has over 30,000 followers on social media. It plans to open up standalone retail stores in 2020.

Stallion Barware has come a long way from its inception and has grown organically with initial investment from the partners and constant reinvestment of returns to expand the product portfolio. Today, it runs four sub-brands:

  • ‘Chirpy Cups’ by Stallion are the world’s first all-around printed coffee cups and sippers. They bear colourful designs and are a hit among online retail buyers. Many B2B brands personalise Chirpy Cups as merchandise and promotional giveaways. 

  • The second sub-brand ‘Cupable’ is the latest wave Stallion created where it designs and makes 100% reusable, recyclable and brandable cups for B2B clients in the large scale events such as Sunburn and NH-7 weekender and the leading QSR players. 

  • Third is the homeware range under the ‘Stallion’ brand that stands for aesthetically designed drinkware which is both functional and fashionable. 

  • ‘Stallion Airware’ that conceptualises and manufacutures custom-designed airware serving rotables.

Unbreakable, Microwave-safe, Dishwasher safe, Food-safe, BPA free, recyclable and compliant with LFGB migration tests from the German testing agency, TUV Rheinland, these are some features that set creations from Stallion Barware apart. Besides, all Stallion products are customizable, eco-friendly, quirky and long lasting. 

Stallion Barware takes it as their responsibility to close the sustainability loop and recycle its products. All Stallion products are made using reusable and recyclable materials and thus cause no harm to the environment. When an existing customer returns a used piece of Stallion from their earlier purchase, the brand recycles it into a reusable cup or a planter and sends it back to the customer along with their new order. The brand ensures not even a single piece it has made ever goes waste or ends up in a landfill.
