With India's elderly population steadily growing, an emerging crop of young startups is looking to cater to senior citizens' needs.

The Founder of SilverGenie, Poulomi Bhattacharya in an exclusive conversation with BW Businessworld said that they are working to revolutionise elderly care in India by leveraging technology to provide comprehensive healthcare solutions. With real-time updates and remote monitoring, the platform empowers seniors to lead independent lives while ensuring their health and well-being.

Speaking about her organisation's goal she shared,"We are a growth and impact-oriented team and are mainly focusing on expanding ourselves in East- Indian lands. We highly advocate gender equality in the nursing sector and we are dedicated to reaching every elder in need of physical and mental healthcare facilities."

Talking about funding she mentioned, "We have completed our one funding round as of yet. Google Accelerator Cohort Program is setting us in the eyes of the healthcare world with a unique project idea."

Stressing innovation and disruption, she said that the technology is enabling operations across sectors. "Training coaches and nursing coaches are today becoming a priority of the world," she added.

Through personalised services for physical and mental health, including access to doctors, counsellors, nutritionists, and fitness instructors, SilverGenie is connecting seniors to a healthcare concierge. They also offer home support services with a clinically trained workforce.

This woman-led Delhi-based platform is simplifying healthcare management for seniors and caregivers. It provides services ranging from medicine orders to lab tests and doctor consultations.

Joining Google's Accelerator Cohort Program will accelerate SilverGenie's growth towards its vision to transform elderly healthcare in India.
