QurHealth Is Proactively Personalising Healthcare

Corporate health and wellness have gained enormous significance since the pandemic. It's not just about providing basic wellness plans to the employees, but employers are now seeking a more holistic healthcare solution for them and their family members

1. Brief us about your business model like how did the idea come to the start and how does it work?

We can achieve quality health only with the convergence of industry players, service providers, medical professionals, and cutting-edge technology. Understanding this, QurHealth was incepted in India about two decades ago. In 2016, we pivoted towards health-tech research and innovation to redefine Personalized Healthcare worldwide. In a significant moment solidifying our initial thought, we introduced Sheela – India’s first multilingual conversational AI health assistant in 2020 to help people track their activities using their smartphones and Alexa.

Furthermore, to ramp up the war against COVID-19, we launched QurOne, India’s 1st patient care concierge program; through that, we effectively served 600+patients over the course of 7 weeks and were felicitated with the prestigious ‘IHWs 2021 Gold Award for our innovative COVID-19 response.

2. What are the unique key points of your QurHealth? How are you different from the existing competitors?

Our purpose is driven by the yearning to redefine personalized healthcare with a vision - Saving Life Super Proactive. QurHealth is a conversational AI/ML-based personalized patient care concierge company committed to improving Patient Quality of Care, Patient Engagement, and Patient Education. QurHealth brings the perfect amalgamation of healthcare services and technology to the customers. We have been a torchbearer in the field of personalized healthcare, and that's what makes us unique. The approach is to make prevention, screening, diagnosis, and treatment as swift and accessible that we can effectively make a difference in people's lives.

Furthermore, we aim to ensure everyone gets the proper care and treatment at the right time. To do so, we have a well-thought framework of professionals who bring the right care. Our network of more than 100 hospitals and 2000 doctors helps us provide the services we commit. The personalized care part that sets us apart is taken care of by our trained healthcare staff that assists in adherence and case management.

Our success and USP to clients is the power of "Sheela" – the world's 1st personalized and multilingual patient health care assistant, and "QurPlan," our proprietary super flexible patient care coordination and regimen system. To date, the platform provides 1000 pre-approved care plans for 30 specialties. Sheela answers nearly 50,000 patient questions.

3. How QurHealth is working is transforming the Corporate Wellness segment

India has about 84.1 million office goers and corporates, and they understand the need for their physical and mental wellbeing. It's a fact that 70% of health issues are preventable with modifiable risk factors. A healthy employee and his family not only increase productivity, but when the employee's health is taken care of, it leads to job satisfaction and, as a result, higher-quality output that benefits the organization.

The program is not a vanilla corporate wellness plan but a complete suite of offerings that provide white-glove service to employees and their families. The plans start from as low as Rs2/day per employee and continue all the way to fulfill the whole nine yards of their healthcare need.

4. What is the funding status and monetization model?

As far as funding status is concerned, QurHealth is currently funded by its parent organization Ventech Solutions. So far, $10 million has been invested in strengthening current technology, processes, and people to reach the company where we are today.

5. What challenges are you facing in running your business?

As an entrepreneur, “Dreaming Super Big” is my challenge in the early days. When I built teams with successful performance, that is who I am today. The conviction to stay firm on super big dreams with flexibility on the journey is our great accelerator to our vision. Hiring the right talent makes a lot of difference in your journey to achieve your goals.

Challenges are my source of motivation and commitment to the purpose of our company. Challenges are the drivers of my journey; whether it is developing intelligently smart solutions for the US government at Ventech or Saving Lives Super Proactively at QurHealth, my people make me a safe choice.

6. How has been the people`s response so far?

The customer responses have been highly encouraging so far. So, overall, it is the quality of our product and customer satisfaction that enabled us to build a big brand.

7. What are the traction details (like users, app downloads & other achievements of the company)?

We have seen significant traction by far, with the customer onboarding growing by 175% month on month. We have more than 8000 active users on the platform, with a total user base of 300000

Talking about our achievements, we worked pretty hard during the second wave of the pandemic. We managed over 3600 critical care alerts and events, saving patients from comorbidities risk and covid fatalities. We successfully served 600+ covid patients in just seven weeks with the promise of QurOne– India’s 1st Personalized Care Concierge Program. Our efforts were recognized, and we were the Gold Winner for India’s Most Innovative Covid-19 Solution, 2021 by IHW.

8. How do you look at expansion?

We look forward to achieving $1 million in revenue during the next three quarters with a projection to grow to $36 million in the next 36 months with a deep footprint in India and USA.

Over the next five years, globally, our goal is to serve 100 million patients as their safe and trusted care concierge company. Establish 1 million providers and healthcare professionals. We would also like to create 100,000 QurPlans - the world's largest and most trusted disease care plans and therapeutic diet plans customizable catalog for doctors, hospitals, payers, and patients.

9. What are your marketing plans?

Our marketing plans are pretty aggressive with the goal we have set for us. Through our innovative tech-enabled services, we look forward to serving 100 million patients as their safe and trusted care concierge company over the next five years. Establish 1 million providers and healthcare professionals. We would also like to create 100,000 QurPlans - the world's largest and most trusted disease care plans and therapeutic diet plans customizable catalog for doctors, hospitals, payers, and patients.

In addition, we plan to become the partner of choice for corporate wellness to employers. We believe in getting more customer insights that will help us perfect our services to match the needs of everyone has and be able to serve them.

10. What have been the biggest learnings so far?

One of the most significant learning so far is that the market is ever-evolving, with customers looking for quick and quality service. The need for an end-to-end concierge service is the need of the hour, and anyone fulfilling that will well and truly become the market leader.
