Health-tech startup Pharmeasy lays off more employees from the company amid funding winter according to the media reports. The reports mentioned that majority of the affected roles are product technology, quality analytics, and support verticals. Also, employees from the overarching technology and design teams were also impacted.
The reasons for layoffs were attributed to different factors such as restructuring, macroeconomic headwinds, and the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, according to the report. Earlier in June, the parent company of PharmEasy, API Holdings, laid off around 40 full-time employees at its electronic medical record subsidiary Docon Technologies.
