Paytm Mall May Shift Base To Bengaluru
The discussion with relation to relocation comes at a time where e-commerce companies are finding it hard to thrive amid the lockdown due to the Coronavirus.
Paytm Mall is contemplating shifting its central base from Noida to Bengaluru. In the past three weeks, two discussions with respect to this topic have already taken place at a senior level. Several people in these meetings have agreed to change base, with the exception of a few people, who were of the belief that there may be several complexities associated with this decision.
The discussion with relation to relocation comes at a time where e-commerce companies are finding it hard to thrive amid the lockdown due to the Coronavirus. Paytm Mall itself saw a reduction in its business by around 80 per cent, and it could be several months before it may be able to reach the heights it was prior to this pandemic.
Shifting to the southern parts of India is not a new idea, as companies with the likes of Ola have done so as well.
