Online Gaming Platform Winzo Sues Google For Play Store's Policy

Winzo has filed a lawsuit against Google’s pilot policy in Delhi High Court. Google is set to launch its year-long pilot project from 28 September 2022 to 28 September 2023. Winzo claims that the policy of Google is arbitrary and discriminatory and will hurt a certain section of the gaming industry according to the media reports.
According to reports, During the pilot Programme, there will be the distribution of Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) and Rummy apps made by local developers on the play store and Real money games like Winzo and Mobile Premiere League will be excluded from the policy. It might create a dis-balance in the real money game sector.
