Onelife Nutriscience Raises Undisclosed Amount From Lasons India

The healthcare start-up produces Vitamin B3 in the form of Niacin and Niacinamide, as well as other specialty chemicals in India, which it then exports to over 100 countries

Mumbai-based Onelife Nutriscience Pvt Ltd has raised an undisclosed amount from Lasons India, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer. The healthcare start-up produces Vitamin B3 in the form of Niacin and Niacinamide, as well as other specialty chemicals in India, which it then exports to over 100 countries.

Onelife is a nutraceutical healthcare company, which owns the consumer healthcare brand Onelife. Earlier this year, it had secured an undisclosed round of funding from Wipro Consumer Care Ventures. The start-up itself was launched in 2019 by Gaurav Aggarwal and now has over 100 products in its name under wellness, nutrition, wellness, and beauty. It is present across 15 cities across North and West India, in addition to its presence online. They will focus on the next round of growth after this round of funding.

The company will leverage the funds for offline, that is, geographical expansion, as well as online expansion, team building, and marketing. Gaurav has over 20 years of experience in the nutrition industry and comes from a family which is one of the leading producers of Vitamin B3 globally. Given his background, it is a natural progression for Aggarwal to expand his business.
