Bhavish Aggarwal, founder and CEO of Ola Cabs and Ola Electric, is launching a new venture. According to media reports, he has launched a new company, which could be in the artificial intelligence (AI) field.

Aggarwal established a new company, Krutrim SI Designs, in April. According to documents received from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs by business intelligence site Tofler, he and Tenneti Venugopala Krishnamurthy are the only two directors of the new company, which was incorporated on April 5.

According to reports, Aggarwal will shortly close investor funding for the new company.

Krishnamurthy, often known as TVG, has been Aggarwal's long-term advisor and serves on the boards of all of his firms. According to the filings, Aggarwal's flagship firm, ANI Technologies, runs Ola Cabs; Ola Electric Mobility, which handles the electric-vehicle industry; Ola Elelctric Technologies, which focuses on research and development; and Ola Financial Services, which was entirely acquired by ANI Technologies.

According to the documents, Krishnamurthy is a director on the boards of all of these firms, as well as Ola Electric Charging, which is a subsidiary of Ola Electric Mobility.

According to the earlier-mentioned media reports, Aggarwal may have gotten an investment for this new AI company from Matrix Partners, a venture capital firm that was an early investor in Ola Cabs.
