Flipkart CEO Informs Staff Regarding Change Of Plans

Kalyan Krishnamurthy, CEO, Flipkart, has conveyed in a statement that he respects the government decision recalling their earlier decision permitting delivery of non-essential items by the e-commerce company

 Kalyan Krishnamurthy, CEO of Flipkart, which is one of the major home-grown e-commerce companies, has categorically said that his company respects the decision taken by the government to overrule their own earlier order which permitted the online delivery companies to deliver non-essential items.

In an email message sent to his employees, Krishnamurthy has clearly said, “We respect the decision because the government has many complex scenarios to manage while protecting more than a billion people in the country.”

In response to the earlier order regarding non-essentials, the e-commerce platform, which is currently owned by Walmart had already moved smartphones and other electronic items in anticipation at their fulfilment centre locations.
