EaseMyTrip Acquires 55% Stake in Hotel Booking Marketplace cheQin

Prior to this development, EaseMyTrip on Monday launched offline retail stores under a franchise model in India

An online travel tech company EaseMyTrip on Tuesday acquires a 55 per cent stake in cheQin, according to media reports. 

A media agency reported that the 55 per cent stakes of hotel booking marketplace cheQin have been acquired by EaseMyTrip for Rs 3 crore. 

With its application, CheQin offers an option to travellers to pay directly at the hotel.

cheQin claims that it has over 60,000 properties, including 3-, 4-, and 5-star hotels, private stays, vacation rentals, beach resorts and low-cost rooms. 

With this acquisition, EaseMyTrip will be leveraging CheQin's innovative hotel booking options for its customer base.
