Dubdub.ai Raises $1M In Seed Round Led By Waveform Ventures

The business intends to utilise the money to expand the technological know-how of the team, enhance the platform's functionality, and validate a number of use cases for international clients.

Dubdub.ai, an AI-based web application, has received $1 million in seed funding from Waveform Ventures and Accel Atoms. The round was also attended by Forward Slash Capital, Force Ventures, and angel investors such as Aprameya Radhakrishna, the founder of Koo, Nishant Mungali, the founder of Mindtickle, Deepak Anchala, the founder of Slintel, Swati Mohan, the former head of marketing at Netflix, Gaurav Kapur, and Roshan Abbas, the founder of Kommune.

The business intends to utilise the money to expand the technological know-how of the team, enhance the platform's functionality, and validate a number of use cases for international clients.

An AI-based web platform called Dubdub.ai was created in 2021 by IIT Kanpur grads Anubhav, Rahul Sankhwar, Rahul Garg, and Anchal Jaiswal to enable audio and video dubbing in more than 50 languages without any prior language knowledge.

Forward Slash Capital, Force Ventures, and angel investors including Aprameya Radhakrishna (Founder, Koo), Nishant Mungali (Founder, Mindtickle), Deepak Anchala (Founder, Slintel), Swati Mohan(Ex-Head of Marketing, Netflix), Gaurav Kapur (Host and Actor), Roshan Abbas (Actor, Director, Founder of Kommune) also participated in the funding round.
