Delhivery, AWS, Nexus Ventures Join Hands To Launch 'Velocity' For Logistics Startups

Delhivery, in collaboration with Nexus Ventures and Amazon Web Services (AWS), has unveiled Velocity, a six-week startup accelerator program aimed at fostering innovation and entrepreneurship within the logistics sector.

The inaugural edition of Velocity commenced in August 2023, featuring industry experts who provided valuable mentorship to selected startups. The program comprised over 15 sessions, covering a wide array of essential startup topics. Distinguished mentors included Vibhor Jain, President – Network Governance & COO of ONDC; Rohit Kapoor, CEO of Food Marketplace at Swiggy; and Naman Jain, Founder of Falcon Autotech.

Out of 234 applicants, 20 early-stage startups were chosen for the cohort, representing diverse sectors such as warehousing, electric vehicle (EV) fleets, agritech, and aggregator platforms. Notably, each participating startup received AWS Activate Credits worth $25,000, enabling access to AWS cloud services for technology infrastructure development.

The program also highlights the growing interest in the logistics sector from investors and stakeholders, as technology-driven innovation continues to play a pivotal role in transforming the industry.
