DJUBO to Conquer South Asian Hotel Tech Market

Initial pickup of the product’s international appeal has been strong with clients in 19 countries including US, Europe, Africa & Asia.

DJUBO, a cloud based 360 Hotels Sales Platform, has now entered the South Asian hotel tech market after announcing its partnerships with Traveloka and Pegi Pegi. DJUBO as a company has grown 12x in revenues in just 18 months of their launch in India. It has 2000+ clients and is already the single largest hotel tech company with hotel clients across 180+ cities in India and is now eyeing global expansion.

Hotel industry has huge potential and with the technology like DJUBO gives wings to it. DJUBO is the single largest hotel tech player and has been able to grow much faster than any other hotel tech platform in India. Adoption from hotel owners is high because of a comprehensive solution led by an awesome channel manager I.E. one single dashboard for hotels to manage sales across multiple platforms and OTAs. It has 2000+ clients and is already the single largest hotel tech company with hotel clients across 180+ cities in India and is now eyeing global expansion.

Today DJUBO handles annual run rate of approx. 2 million room nights amounting to annual booking value of approximately USD 90 MM in India alone which is unheard of in the hotel tech space in India so far. On an average, DJUBO has demonstrated a 43% year-on-year increase in revenues to its client’s revenues. Not only that, DJUBO has single-handedly increased the share of direct bookings happening on the hotel's own website and quick pay platforms from 0.5% to 8%. This has resulted in helping also save OTA and offline agency commissions in a big way.

Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia and Vietnam are extremely attractive tourist destinations now which are English speaking and also have a huge under penetration of high end hotel tech. With their partnership with Traveloka and Pegi Pegi launched in addition to DJUBO's existing global partnerships with Google, Tripadvisor, Booking.com, Expedia etc. South Asia is going to be an extremely important marketing for them. Indonesia alone has a population of 250 MM domestic travelers with a city like Bali comprising 12000 hotels, bed and breakfasts and Homestay's. Thailand is a country with a population of 66 MM and 33 MM annual foreign tourists. With the book made in travel and revenue sources going online South Asia presents an attractive opportunity for hotel tech companies to focus on.
