BYG (Book Your Game), which claims to be the largest network of affiliated fitness centres in India, has introduced a feature called “BYGPASS”. It is an all-access pass that lets you work out at all fitness centres across top cities in the country, starting at a monthly fee of 1399 rupees. In a breakthrough for BYG, it has managed partner with Ola, Snapdeal, Giftxoxo and Nearbuy, among other brands, to make the BYG pass available on these startup platforms with large reach across India.
The company has partnered with Ola for the Ola Select campaign offering a 3-workout BYGPASS worth 749 rupees to Ola Select users for the month of January and February. Similarly, a partnership with Nearbuy as a 2017 resolution deal provides a 10 percent cashback on the BYG pass while the Giftxoxo partnership will add BYG’s services to its corporate gifting segment.
With the BYG pass, one can either buy a city pass, which includes affiliated centres in your city, or a national pass. The pass provides access to more than 30 types of workout, including gym, yoga, zumba, pilates, and crossfit across more than 3,000 fitness centres in the country.
Devi Prasad Biswal, CEO, BYG said, “We have been encouraged by the engagement on our app and the growth that we have witnessed. We have introduced this feature to fulfil our mission of helping people lead a more active life.”
Commenting on the partnership, Ankur Warikoo, founder and CEO of Nearbuy said, “We are very excited to partner with BYG, and the opportunity to offer their service to our wide range of users across 5 cities. Nearbuy users will now have access to the BYG pass where they can use any fitness service in their vicinity at a great price. This handshake makes complete sense for us because of the commonality of a geo-centric app feature. We are confident that this association will give us a great opportunity to reach out to customers who seek out fitness offers by connecting them with quality service providers like BYG.”
Speaking on the tie-up, Manoj Agrawal, Giftxoxo CEO and founder said, “BYG is doing a great job making fitness mainstream in India. People need flexible options for getting fit in terms of pricing, locations, and subscriptions and the BYG pass is a good step towards solving these major consumer issues.
Employers and employees are becoming more and more aware about the benefits of being fit and such initiatives would make it an optimal and easy solution. Giftxoxo clients use and prefer multiple health and wellness experiences and activities. The addition of the BYG pass to our program would further strengthen the wellness category and options for our clients.”
