Bengaluru based Awign Enterprises Raises Series A round of $4Million

Bengaluru based Awign Enterprises, India’s largest 'Work Fulfillment' platform which fulfils on-field enterprise functions through gig workforce, has raised $ 4 mn Series A funding round led by Work10M, Michael and Susan Dell Foundation, Eagle10 and existing investors Unitus Ventures, for product and business expansion.

Founded in 2016 by IIT Alumni Annanya Sarthak, Gurpreet Singh and Praveen Sah, Awign plans to utilize this investment to strengthen the workforce facing app and the enterprise facing platform, while also developing robust sales and marketing channels. With this new round of fundraise, Awign not only plans to grow 10x within the next financial year but also aims to make some strategic acquisitions.

Awign is best positioned to fulfill the industry gap in creating local jobs and livelihoods across India by taking micro jobs to the door-step of candidates and giving a platform to execute them at the place and time they want. They are the first platform in India to fulfill more than 3 million micro-jobs across 200 cities in India. This round comes in at the right time with perfect partners for the company where the aim is to invest in technology and touch more than 10 million lives within the next financial year.

This niche has enabled Awign to emerge as leading player in the space of “Future of Work” in India which gets enterprise functions executed through a distributed workforce across the country and charges only on delivered outcomes. Their on-field services include Audit, Diligence and New Business Development. Awign has reached across sectors with clients like Swiggy, Oyo, Accenture, BCG, Raymond, Wipro, Udaan on a PAN India basis with the help of over 4,00,000+ registered supply base spread across 300+ cities.
