With the outbreak of Covid 19, all the vehicles and workplaces that are being used need to sanitized. AUtomovill, an Assam based startup has grabbed this opportunity and is therefore engaged in sanitizing the vehicles being used by the government machinery.

The startup that is funded by NEDFI Venture Capital Limited (NVCL) has been able to secure funds from The North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd (NEDFI) a state-run financial institution as well.

Automovill an Assam based company’s Guwahati team in a statement, has informed that the company is currently sanitizing vehicles used by the Governor, Chief Minister, Director General of police, ministers and other high-ranking officers. The statement said, “Team is ensuring the safety and hygiene of the vehicles used by them. Automovill team is using high-grade broad-spectrum antimicrobial to curb the possible containment of the vehicles. It will continue for another couple of days and will repeat until the outbreak is contained.”

The company hinted that in case of emergency, their services may get extended to all the vehicles being used to contain the virus including medical vehicles. The company said that “Apart from Guwahati, Automovill has its operations in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Gurgaon. In Bangalore also, the Automovill team is sanitizing police vehicles for police stations”.

The company further stated, “This could be a good revenue source at the time of lockdown for startups which are affected during the lockdown.”
