Significant advancements in healthcare, from diagnosis to treatment, have been made as a result of artificial intelligence. Medical treatment procedures in the nation are anticipated to undergo a revolution, thanks to AI-enabled healthcare services such as automated analysis of medical tests, predictive healthcare diagnosis and more.

The value of AI-powered tools as the newest healthcare technology is being acknowledged by the industry. Vikram Manchanda, CEO, MinfyTech said “The exact cause of chronic diseases like kidney failure is not known. The broad data can be collected and with just a few clicks, the early detection of diseases could be known. Here could be the computing platform AWS in the healthcare system. Machine learning can handle this data very easily.”

The core of any transformation is the opportunity to refocus on and enhance patient care. Up to 70 per cent of a healthcare professional's labour is spent on administrative tasks, which AI can help eliminate or reduce. “Data is very integral. The effectiveness of using technology can help analyse the data. We are doing this work in collaboration with our partners, such as MinfyTech and AWS, and it is an exciting initiative to look forward to in an ecosystem to expand and broaden the scalable technology,” said Gurpreet Gaur, Global Manager, Intel.

There are significant problems with quality, accessibility and affordability in India's healthcare systems. Due to a lack of skilled healthcare professionals, there are substantial medical service discrepancies between urban and rural communities. If we incorporate technology to develop infrastructure and increase efficiency through process modifications, the trend of incorporating AI solutions into healthcare might be a good one. A healthcare specialist from Mahavir International Foundation and Trust said, “The cost of kidney dialysis is huge. This will help make the treatment affordable. Going for dialysis is very depressing for most patients. This could be a life-saving technology.”

He further mentions that the future is promising and technology is the solution to all these things. More patient data can enable and invite the best we can do for the patient.
