Amid the festive season in the country, 72 per cent of Indian micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) prefer to sell on e-commerce platforms,  India SME Forum (ISF) said in a report on Tuesday.

The report said that as the country prepares for the upcoming festive season without Covid-19 restrictions for the first time in three years, Indian MSMEs are increasingly leveraging online platforms to drive sales during this period.

The report titled “MSMEs and The Festive Economy” revealed that 76 per cent of sellers opted to sell their products on e-commerce platforms to survive the pandemic.

Vinod Kumar, President, ISF, said, “The festive season is a great opportunity for sellers to introduce new and innovative products, and drive sales by offering discounts on e-commerce platforms.
