W Health Ventures has invested USD 30 million in 2070 Health, a healthcare venture studio, to help it establish healthcare firms from scratch.
The funds will be used to construct the 2070 Health platform and to nurture newly formed firms.
Pankaj Jethwani founded 2070 Health in October 2022 with the goal of assisting founders in swiftly testing, launching, and iterating on their ideas. It intends to contribute to making high-quality healthcare more accessible and affordable in India.
To arrive at a solution, the venture studio shortlists prospective concepts, which then go through a validation process that includes interactions with doctors and patients, clinical investigations, and go-to-market experiments.
In the last nine months, 2070 Health has created three companies: ElevateNow, Nivaan Care, and Reveal HealthTech. Healthcare-focused W Health Ventures is a venture capital firm based in the United States and India that invests in companies that address key unmet healthcare needs by employing technology to improve care delivery.
In March, the venture invested USD 4 million in Reveal HealthTech, a US-based company that provides cross-functional technology services to healthcare firms as well as engineering, clinical, and strategic assistance.
