UpGrad To Infuse Additional $40 Mn In Harappa Education

UpGrad has announced to invest of $40 million in Harappa Education and create a new leadership course and has a plan to make it global

UpGrad an online learning platform Has announced an investment of $40 million which is around INR 323 crore (1 USD= 80.88) in Harappa Education, according to the media reports. In July 2022 upGrad acquired Harappa Education for $38 million. UpGrad was founded in 2015 by Ronnie Screwvala a media entrepreneur.

The reports mentioned that the capital will be used for creating programmes related to leadership skills and they are planning to hire people to build the courses.  critical courses of Harappa and Upgrad’s upskilling courses will set them apart in the Industry. Since both had different types of courses like upskilling and critical thinking their new set of courses will make them look different in the industry.
