Technology Enabling Growth Of Bharat

The real Bharat lies beyond the metropolitan, which is almost 85 per cent and the need to grasp the market is being rapidly recognised by the new-age entrepreneurs, say experts

According to a data total 72,993 startups were recognized till 30 June 2022. There are multiple categories of the startups like knowledge based technology driven, technology oriented, bio-technology and many more. The diversity itself justifies the number. Mostly startups are considered to be in the tier I or the metropolitan cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore.

The tier two and tier three cities are also considered good for startups as they have some of the prominent institution of the country and which has a great talent studying in them. Cities like Jaipur, Indore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad , Pune has also been in the list of startups. Startups like Car Dekho, Culture Ally, Jugnoo are some examples.

Gautam Madhvan CEO at Mad Influence said,” I will be more centric towards creator economy, or influencer economy. Creator of everywhere have access to tech. Now we are building a tech platform to get into tier II, tier III cities .The problem is that they know how to use Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook but they don’t know how these platforms function. They only care about making money which makes sense. We are educating the creators using the tech platform to grow more business”.

Danish Sinha, Founder and CEO, Gamestacy said “We are trying to make mobile games for everyone. Women gaming is rising but it was not in the past because people don’t play games with a calm mind and usually abuse, women characters are sexualized, gaming industry is biased in hiring women. We are helping Bharat is by bringing money from foreign. We have faced a language localization challenge as if any person is abusing in local language or Hindi we can’t stop it. Localization needs to happen at a massive scale and need to watch out if any harassment happens.”

The use of tech has been increased in the startups and it happened majorly because of two reasons 1st is the pandemic that forced everyone to go digital and the other is internet revolution that came in with the Jio and followed by other companies. The technology not only makes it easy for any industry to operate but also helps to make products or any service easily available, user friendly and fast for the consumers.
