Project Hero got funding of $3.2 million to expand its technology infrastructure and hire talent
Project Hero raises $3.2 million which is roughly INR 25 crore (1 USD=79.91) in a funding round led by Ankur Capital and Omidyar Network India and Titan capital in the seed funding. The company aims to expand its technology platform by hiring talent and workforce according to the media reports.
Project Hero currently has 4 lakh workers connected to them and offers services of Hiring a workforce with the skill sets of mason, carpenters, painters, welder fitters, floor tiling etc. The platform basically tries to remove middlemen who usually are in between the contractors and workforce and mostly responsible for the mismanagement and exploitation.
