Pharmarack On Sale: India's Top Pharma Majors In Talks To Buy!

Enabling B2B marketplace to function, the digital platform will provide the technological backbone to companies that want to eventually build an online pharmacy.

A CONSORTIUM of Indian pharmaceutical majors, including Torrent Pharma, Sun Pharma, and Cadila Healthcare Lupin, is in advanced negotiations to acquire business-to-business (B2B) healthcare platform Pharmarack.

Regulatory filings by the four companies reveal that each of them has invested Rs 40 crore each for 20% in a newly formed venture named “ABCD Technologies”, with the agenda of enabling healthcare digitization and efficient goods distribution.

Pharmarack is a healthcare technology platform that combines SaaS solutions, financing solutions, market access, delivery enablement, digital solutions, and analytics solutions. 

The digital platform has 3,000-4,000 distributors on board along with 100,000 retailers, enabling B2B marketplace to function, the digital platform will provide the technological backbone to companies that want to eventually build an online pharmacy.
