Paytm to Expand Team in Bangalore, Takes Up Office Space for 150 People
With the current user base of more than 200 million, Paytm is on a mission to bring half a billion Indians to the mainstream of the economy using mobile payment, commerce and soon to be launched payment banking services.
Paytm has announced that it is renting additional office space in Innov8 Koramangala to further ramp up its Bengaluru-based Travel business. The 150 seater private space at the country’s tech capital would complement Paytm’s aggressive hiring plans for the coming year and further augment its existing capacity of 200 seats in its HSR Layout and Bannerghatta Road offices.
Speaking at the announcement, Abhishek Rajan, Vice President – Paytm said, “At Paytm, we pride ourselves in our startup DNA and ability to design great products within exceptional deadlines. This new co-working office space would further drive our open and vibrant culture while the prime location will help us attract top talent from the industry as we move into the next orbit of Paytm’s growth.”
Paytm had recently announced that it was increasing its workforce across sales, product, technology, business and operations to match the growth in its business across verticals.
