Miko’s Sneh Vaswani Receives ‘Outstanding Entrepreneur’ Award At TiECon Mumbai 2020

Vaswani co-founded Miko with Prashant Iyengar and Chintan Raikar in 2015 and conceived a friendly little robot that has been engaging, entertaining and educating children across India, UAE and North America.

The 11th Edition of The IndUS Entrepreneurs (TiE) Mumbai 2020 has conferred the 'Outstanding Entrepreneur - Deep Tech' Award on Sneh Vaswani, who is the co-founder and CEO of Miko, India-based advanced robotics company. Sneh received the award at the hands of Infosys co-founder Narayan Murthy who also felicitated Ratan N. Tata with the Lifetime Achievement Award. As part of the recognition, Sneh was also inducted into the ‘TiE Mumbai Hall of Fame 2020.’ This recognition is testimony to Sneh’s outstanding contribution to the Entrepreneurial ecosystem and Deep Technology landscape, and to developing India’s first social robot for kids.

Vaswani co-founded Miko with Prashant Iyengar and Chintan Raikar in 2015 and conceived a friendly little robot that has been engaging, entertaining and educating children across India, UAE and North America. The latest offering, Miko 2 has been developed over a period of 4 years through multiple pilot tests across consumer groups. The company is targeting sales of over 1,00,000 units by 2020 across the globe.
