INR 3 Lakh Worth Health Cover As Loyalty Benefit To Gig Workers: Zomato
Zomato announced its health cover INR 3 lakh as a pilot run in three major cities Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Delhi as a loyalty benefit to its gig workers
Zomato is providing health cover worth INR 3 lakh to its delivery workers this comes as a loyalty benefit for those who are working with the company since the delivery started in their area, according to the media reports. This development comes after reports of multiple road accidents which resulted in delivery partners’ death on duty.
The media report says that the pilot run of it is in three cities currently New Delhi, Hyderabad and Ahemdabad. Zomato already provides Rs 10,00,000 of life cover and a dedicated amount for funeral expenses in case of the death of a delivery partner.
