With many skilled and talented people in India who, because of the uprising competition and sometimes lack of opportunities, cannot make something out for themselves apart from the ordinary pay package for their respective roles and ordinary career; Varun Aggarwal is one man who disagreed to settle with this and went on to do something better with his skill set and entrepreneurial brain.

In his early days, he used to be a freelance designer. He worked on a number of platforms to find good freelancing opportunities but to be able to find clients and on top, to be able to find genuine clients who would pay him on time & pay him according to the effort he would put in, it was a challenge that would numb anybody's mind. Varun told us how clients themselves faced a very similar problem where they were not able to find good quality designers, delivery on time was an issue, no affordability was another pain point etc.

This is where he with his brother Rahul Aggarwal decided to build an open and innovative crowdsourcing marketplace called Designhill to address all these issues faced by the dedicated freelance designers and design seekers who place creativity and ingenuity above everything else. While speaking to us, he said "We wanted to change the dynamics of the design industry."

The company was launched in October 2014 with just a team of 4 developers and 2 designers in an office in New Delhi with focused heads to change the way how design industry works by launching a marketplace that is specifically focused on the graphic design industry.
