A Goa Based IoT Startup Spintly Raises 1.9 Crores

This investment will be used to scale up sales, marketing and research activities to accelerate customer acquisition and market penetration

In a release by the Goa-based startup, Spintly has raised 1.9 crores in a Pre-Series  A funding round led by Saltwater Venture Sparks and another technology angel investor. The startup works under the aegis of Rohin Parkar and Malcolm Dsouza's Mrinq Technologies LLP based out of Goa. Spintly uses wireless- cloud-based technology to change the way access control systems are used across the system. 

Rohin Parkar and Malcolm Dsouza, Co-founders, Spintly said, "There is a greater demand for touchless alternatives by hospitals, hotels, coworking and large office spaces as organisations want to take all precautionary measures to ensure the safety of their team and guests. We have seen a rise in demand for our products and are in the process of ramping up our production. The funds raised will also help us accelerate the product development process to meet the increased demand.” 

The startup is incubated at the Ignite-EDC Innovation hub. It provides its services to a variety of customers including medium & large enterprises, co-working and co-living spaces, logistics and many others.
