Zolo, a managed co-living solutions provider, has announced that it has become India’s largest brand in the co-living space - with 10,000 live beds, earlier this month.

Zolo, started in 2015, has five times (5X) more beds live than other players in the same space. With this and 50,000 beds already locked-in for next year, this is a significant milestone for a company, in what is a crowded market, within a short span of three years. The Bangalore-headquartered company manages 100 properties across 6 cities viz Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Gurgaon, Hyderabad and Kota and aims to add with its plan to enter new cities.

“It gives us a great sense of accomplishment and pride to be the leader in what is an undoubtedly crowded space. Our offering and services help us stand apart and we strive to stay in the forefront by continuously adding value to the customers,” commented Nikhil Sikri, Co-Founder and CEO of Zolo.

Zolo was co-founded by Nikhil Sikri, Akhil Sikri and Sneha Choudhry, with the aim to redefine the living experience in India. Zolo provides fully managed and affordable living solutions through ready-to-move-in rented rooms/beds that offer convenient amenities via an integrated app-based technology platform. It is a platform + operator model and owns the entire customer experience. The company charges anywhere between INR 6,000 - 35,000 per bed per month, depending on the location and the services selected.

In January 2017, the company had raised $5 million in Series A funding led by existing investor Nexus Venture Partners. In August 2016, the firm secured seed amount from Switzerland based Software company Hitouch AG.
