With this in mind, EVC Ventures hosted an Artificial Intelligence Venture Capital Bootcamp along with BW Businessworld and some other investment partners including Sequoia Capital on 24 March, 2018 at EVC Ventures, India.

This Bootcamp witnessed participation of leading global investors and industry experts from BCG, BW Businessworld, Sequoia Capital, EVC Ventures, YourNest Venture Capital, Indian Angel Network, Unifyed and many more.

Keynote speakers and Judges of the AI Venture Capital Bootcamp were Anurag Batra, chairman and editor-in-chief of BW Businessworld; Anjli Jain, managing partner of EVC Ventures, USA; Shraeyansh Thakur, investor with Sequoia Capital; Vikas Banga, associate director, The Boston Consulting Group and former vice president of Snapdeal; Vikram Bawa, vice president of Unifyed; Girish Shivani, executive director and fund manager of YourNest Venture Capital; Sandro Stephen, regional head of North India operations for the Indian Angel Network; and Aashish Singh, associate vice president of I-MADE.

The idea behind this initiative was to get startups working in the AI domain for over 12 months, with a POC, present their ideas to a set of VCs and industry leaders who could potentially be willing to look at these ventures for their respective portfolios or help them accelerate their journey with mentorship support.

It doesn't end here. This will be a 4-season long boot camp and each season will have a different theme. The Artificial Intelligence Venture Capital Bootcamp will be followed by the Blockchain Venture Capital Bootcamp, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality Venture Capital Bootcamp, and the EdTech Venture Capital Bootcamp respectively.
