T-Hub, in Partnership With Anthill Announces the Winners of Global Mobile Challenge National-Finals 2016

Hug Innovations & Fitso, won the challenge and will now represent India at The Global Mobile Challenge Asia Pacific event in Singapore, to be held on 20th January 2017. This will be followed by the global event, the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February, 2017.

T-Hub, in partnership with Anthill, announces the winners of the national finals of Global Mobile Challenge 2016, held at the T-Hub campus in Hyderabad on 9th & 10th of December, 2016.

Hug Innovations & Fitso, won the challenge and will now represent India at The Global Mobile Challenge Asia Pacific event in Singapore, to be held on 20th January 2017. This will be followed by the global event, the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February, 2017.

Their platform combines the power of wearable technology and health coaching services on cloud. They get a sponsored ticket for the event to be held in Singapore, $500 worth of credits from Digital Ocean and a Smartron phone.

Growfitter, a B2B SAAS based platform for Fitness centres and a B2C Fitness discovery portal enabling customers to book real-time sessions, stood second in the challenge and get the opportunity to participate in the Singapore finals. They too won a Smartron phone along with $500 worth of credits from Digital Ocean.

Mentored under the expert guidance of Anwar Hussein, Founder & CEO, Accel Health, Rama Iyer, SVP, T-Hub, Bharat Lingam, CEO, Purple Talk, Narsi Reddy, Founder & CEO, Smartron, Seema Kumar, Girls in Tech, Rajesh Manthena, Hyderabad Angels and Ritesh Modi, Microsoft; the top 10 participating teams competed in the challenge for two days.

On the basis of relevance, effectiveness, innovation, ability to scale and go-to-market strategy, these 10 teams were judged by a panel of expert jury members comprising of Sreekanth, Hyderabad Angels, Rajeev Menon, Anthill Ventures, Srinivas Kollipara, Founder & COO, T-Hub and Sri Pedhu of Powerhouse Ventures.
