Shipway.in: A SaaS-based Tech Startup Provides Multi-Courier Tracking System to eCommerce Players

Founded in June 2015 by Vikas Garg and Gaurav Gupta, Shipway.in’s ultimate mission is to reduce customer support cost and increase customer satisfaction.

As per a recent report, there will be around 10 million sellers to go online by 2020. Shipway.in, a SaaS-based tech startup that provides the multi-courier tracking system to eCommerce players, caters to the need of all these sellers.

Founded in June 2015 by Vikas Garg and Gaurav Gupta, Shipway.in’s ultimate mission is to reduce customer support cost and increase customer satisfaction. The startup is providing 100+ couriers tracking integrations in one go.

It is helping out merchants to serve their customers in a better way and running their online stores efficiently. Some of the key features that Shipway provides are:-

- Tracking for all of the major eCommerce couriers

- Provide SMS/ Email timely Notifications to online store customers.

- Reporting Panels for businesses

- Alerts for Shipments having delivery problems

- Order Reviews/ Feedbacks, to know more about what customers think about their store.

Shipway enables online sellers to take care of the delivery problems, enable them to reduce their RTOs and help them collect reviews as well. The startup is bootstrapped so far however, it is looking to raise seed round of funding to expand the technology and operations.

When talked about the company’s revenue model, Vikas Garg , Co- Founder, Shipway.in said, “Our revenue model is a subscription-based prepaid model, where small and medium e-tailers avail our services of sending SMS/Email notifications to customers on a per-shipment basis. Order reviews is also a premium service, we collect and group the order reviews and present the reporting to the merchant.”

Shipway.in is growing by 30% month over month. It is having 6500 + e-commerce partners, served 5 million customers since inception, sent 20 million notifications so far and collected more than 1 lakh reviews.

Going forward, the company is planning to quadruple the user base by the end of this fiscal year.

Also on the basis of customer feedback and suggestions, the firm has introduced a new product called Ezyslips.com where eTailers can easily process their orders, print shipping labels, and invoices.

“Also, we are focused on onboarding Big Players now, some of them are already using our services for their complete eco-system,” added Vikas Garg.
