He has extensive work experience of 22 years in market biggies in different geographical location, He made humble beginning like Pfizer India Ltd, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Pvt Ltd, Metlife India, Stel Pvt Ltd and finally 3i Infotech.
Leaving behind a highly paying corporate job within 15 months of his Entrepreneur journey to endeavor his sole desire of creating his own company in his hometown Bhubhaneswar. He then initiated development of this unique concept called Flashdeal which basically Aggregator of offline deals to online registered users, currently looking for Investor to scale up the Business to next level.
A strong team force of 18 people eventually executed the ultimatum through the creation of Flashdeal. The startup was created with long term Vision of creating ample jobs in a still developing state like Odisha. But there is minimal support system of funding from either state or Private Angel Investor. Flashdeal is Live on in Google play store with perfectly applied hyper local features in the Mobile App. The achievements of Flashdeal also speaks about its commendable ability. It got good appreciation by NASSCOM in its top Innovative product list in East in April. It also got recognition and offer of Incubation form IIT Bhubaneswar for being the Innovative product.
Still the need for investors remain inevitable because Flashdeal has been made on a bootstrapped model along with two more founders namely Zahid Akhtar and Malay Bastia In a place like Odisha where development still awaits, it is difficult to promote without proper investment. Being a small town, connecting with venture capitalists is a major problem so funding for scaling up is really tough. The basic mantra of this concept is to bridge the gap between the offline and online business by putting forward aggregated offline deals and the sharing it with registered online users for which they DIPP certificate.
In Odisha currently no other App which plays the exact role of Flashdeal, there are other similar product but they are focusing on a different Market segment altogether. May be if this whole thing is properly portrayed and circulated then this will bring in a flood of appreciations mainly from among the underprivileged ones which in lower strata of the social pyramid as they are our target customer.
