Naaptol Plans to Bolster its Offline Presence Across India by Setting up More Franchise Stores

After success of the first store in Thrissur, Naaptol aims to acquire 10 mn more customers in less than 12 months with franchise stores

After the successful launch of its first brick-and-mortar store in Thrissur, Kerala, Naaptol, India’s #1 home shopping company, is on the verge of further expansion by setting up more franchise stores in different parts of the country. The second franchise store will be launched in Indore, followed by Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Jaipur. By expanding its offline presence in India and launching four franchise stores this year, Naaptol aims to connect touch points between desktop, mobile, and in-store engagements and significantly expand its offline distribution network all over the country.

All the franchise stores will offer a wide variety of products such as clothing, footwear, accessories, electronic devices including mobiles and laptops, home and kitchen appliances, health products and a range of other product categories. Naaptol will continue to attract its customers through combos, deals and discounts that will be in sync with the product pricing offer as shown on television. The decision to expand its offline presence is in line with Naaptol’s effort of acquiring additional 10 million customers in less than 12 months, and the choice of cities is based on the high order volume from these geographies.

Commenting on the announcement, Manu Agarwal, Founder & CEO of Naaptol said, “By making our physical presence felt in different parts of the country, we aim to further the reach of our operations and offer customers with a seamless shopping experience. This is part of our omni-channel strategy, which will generate more revenue and enhance customer experiences. We have high expectations of this move, especially targeting Hyderabad – a large metropolitan market – for expansion in the coming months. The franchise stores will not only enable customers to experience their choice of products but will also help us reach our target of acquiring additional 10 million customers by the end of this year.”

Naaptol is the first TV and e-commerce based platform to have initiated such a planned selling-and-distribution framework with great products, immaculate delivery, and customer support services. By opening up more offline stores, Naaptol, India’s biggest TV-based retail company aims to develop a robust offline network and further strengthen its popularity as the fastest growing home shopping brand in the country.
