Founded in May 2015 by Manoj Tanwar, Raunak Panwar and Raj Pathak, Moducation App aims to provide opportunity of better education and employment to eradicate poverty through cost effective, self evaluating and efficient educational products and programs. Presently the startup is providing services and products in the field of various engineering and medical entrance examinations like JEE Main, JEE Advance, BITSAT, CETs, AIPMT, MHCET and other state level engineering and medical entrance examinations. Its services are helpful for students from class 6 onwards. The app is available for Android users currently.
In an interaction with Sujata Sangwan of BWDisrupt, Manoj Tanwar, Founder & CEO, Moducation, shares details about his venture.
How did the idea came to start Moducation App?
I belong to rural background where students are unable to find quality education at all or if at all is not affordable. I always wanted to do something for those poor brothers and sisters. Therefore, I decided to start Moducation.
What are the special key features of Moducation App?
1. Complete eLearning:
Moducation platform includes NCERT Books, Correspondence Course Material, Video Lectures, Smart Revision Slides, Online Doubt Discussion.
2. Test Features:
Complete freedom to students for generating personalized chapterwise tests and part syllabus tests where students can choose chapters, no. of questions for each chapter and duration of the tests. These tests are generated based on user history. No question is repeated if student has already answered correctly.
Full syllabus tests for analyzing preparation at national level, previous years tests, Practice sheets by partner institutes for daily practice based on teaching of the day. Periodic tests by partner institutes.
3. Micro Level Reports:
Self Analysis Reports tell student the exact reason of poor performance (if any) in each chapter and subject separately based on the tests history of individual student.
Efficiency Reports are generated for each subject and chapter on the basis of questions attempted on the platform. These reports tell students their Efficiency as well as exact reason of inefficiency in each chapter and subject separately. Monthly Efficiency Reports and graph are also available so that student can find if he is moving in right direction or wrong direction.
4. Attempt History:
Students can shortlist attempted questions based on their attempts (correct/incorrect/skipped), subject and chapters and based on the reason for incorrect attempts or reason for skipping. Based on Self Analysis reports and Efficiency Reports student can practice questions incorrectly answered or skipped questions based on user history.
Students can also see questions of each test they have taken in past.

What is the next big thing in the pipeline?
Next big thing in pipe line is franchisee model to start institute branches providing Affordable Quality Education in each town and village.
What was the most challenging part of your journey till now?
Most challenging part was to develop user friendly technology which can be used efficiently and economically to bring down costs of services. Second big challenge was to generate quality educational content. Both these challenges were handled very economically and efficiently because of my experience of more than 20 years in coaching institutes of national reputation.
