ICC Signs Byju's As It's Global Partner Until 2023

The partnership will see Byju's banding together all ICC occasions over the three-year long-time frame inclusive of the impending ICC Men's T20 World Cup for India along with the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup in New Zealand.

9th February, 2021: The International Cricket Council ( ICC) reported that it has brought Bengaluru-based instruction and learning platform Byju's, as global accomplice for a period of three years beginning from 2021. 

The partnership will see Byju's banding together all ICC occasions over the three-year long-time frame inclusive of the impending ICC Men's T20 World Cup for India along with the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup in New Zealand.  As a global accomplice, the firm will have broad in-scene, broadcast, and digital rights across all events held by ICC. 

This imprints yet another example of web firms spending on cricketing occasions to acquire users. Paytm, PhonePe, Cred and edtech startup Unacademy are some of the other different names who have bagged diverse sponsorship rights earlier  for blockbuster cricketing occasions, including the IPL.

Manu Sawhney chief executive, ICC said that our team at ICC anticipates the fruitful assembly of schooling and sports and desire to reach at the hearts and brains of millions of youthful cricketing fans through this engagement. He further expressed that Byju's has been an impassioned ally of cricket in India and we at ICC are happy to collaborate with a solid and dynamic Indian brand that has been motivating large number of students to think ambitiously. 

Byju's will work intimately with the ICC to extend engagement with fans through the production of inventive missions. 

Byju Raveendran, founder and CEO, Byju's expressed his excitement following the partnership and said that It is a matter of pride for Bjyu’s as an Indian organization to address our country on a worldwide stage this way. 

In 2019, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) brought Byju's as the official Team India sponsor supplanting Chinese cell phone creator Oppo India. The arrangement period which started from 5 September, 2019 will go on until 31 March, 2022.
