Did you know the actions you are taking right now could be hurting your business and turning away customers and investors? These 3 distinct but similar forms of habits and thinking if not understood can destroy an existing business or prevent a new one from ever launching, and this where the event concluded @ Innov8 (a Co-working space at CP, New Delhi) on 16th April, 2016.
The event witnessed a session set afire, where all hustlers, Entrepreneurs and Investors sat down to discuss “How to hustle during the various phases of one’s startup journey, starting from development, marketing, funding, discussion on various events, incubation and acceleration programs that can be strategically used as leapfrogging a startup from its inception stage to execution stage.
The day began with a Panel Discussion on “Hustling for development - what are the key techniques to get the MVP done and take it to the launch stage as soon as possible” headed by panelists Varun Chandra( Co-founder, Desiredwings.com) and Shivam Dikshit( Co-founder, IoTfy Inc) and moderated by Yogender Verma(Founder, W2E) which laid the foundation for the strategizing hustling activities in order to get the minimum viable product done before presenting your startup before an investor or your customers. This was followed by the Keynote Speaker session by Mr.Sandeep Amar(CEO of Zeenews.com, India.com, The Healthsite.com, Bollywoodlife.com, BGR.in ) and panel discussion by Sunita Biddu ( Web Marketing Strategist & Social Media Coach) and Rajesh Menon ( Managing director, Impact Marketing services Pvt. Ltd), moderated by Latika Suneja (Operations Head, Desiredwings.com) on “Hustling for marketing - How to get your digital marketing done with minimum resources but maximum output” explaining the Do’s and Don’ts of Social Media Marketing for a Startup Entrepreneur.
Sandeep, very bluntly shared how upfront a Hustler Entrepreneur has to be when it comes to getting things done from the marketing point of view. Along with Sandeep, Sunita and Rajesh too had the same point of view, and that was “to be successful, one has to blow his own Trumpet”. Innovative Persevarance is what leads to Hustling strategies in terms of marketing.
Post, this was a panel discussion on “How to use various events, incubation, acceleration programs to hustle for key milestones” with panelists Brett Stevens (Vice President, Jaarvis Accelerator), Shabir Momin( MD & CTO, Zenga TV | Co-founder, Desiredwings.com), Mohammed Sirajuddin (Co-Founder, Desiredwings.com) and Varun Chandra (Co-Founder, Desiredwings.com) with Yogender Verma (Founder, W2E) as the moderator. This part of the session discussed the pros and cons of starting a business, as to when is the right time to start a Startup, why many great business ideas never launched, what role an incubator, startup school or accelerator plays in the journey of startup, how a good habit used incorrectly can destroy a business and what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur.
The session concluded on a Keynote session by Shabir Momin( MD & CTO, ZengaTv | Co-founder, Desiredwings.com) discussing “Hustling for funding - How to approach funding strategically and using all the possible alternate means”. A very interesting fact that Shabir concluded the started the session was “Crowdfunding, is the new means of getting Idea Validated along with creating a huge Marketing Blitz around”, which was an eyeopener for all. Though new in the market, but has enough power to drive the startup in its early days.
The event concluded on the note “For the person who is not ready to start their own business, but still wants to share in benefits of the entrepreneurial spirit, should start small, think big and achieve the Biggest”
