The India Chapter was formerly led by Kirthiga Reddy (Ex MD, Facebook India) and Ashish Kashyap (CEO, Goibibo)

Global leadership network for the digital industry H2 (h2.co) announced the appointment of Neeraj Roy (CEO, Hungama Digital Media) and Swati Bhargava (Co-founder CashKaro.com) as Co-Chairs of its India Chapter. The duo will be collectively responsible for leading H2’s programs and growth initiatives for its India Chapter over its next phase of growth ahead.

Over the last 7 years, H2 has put in concentrated effort towards the development of global leaders in the digital domain. H2’s Chapter Forums offer unique opportunities to engage in trusted discussions with industry leaders in a small-group format, fostering valuable and open idea exchange amongst senior industry peers.

H2 was founded in 2009 by Nayan Patel (ex-LinkedIn, Google & Yahoo) and Jeff Merkel (ex-Google, AdMob, Apple). The first series of H2 Chapter Forums were held across Silicon Valley, London and Singapore (its Founding Chapters) in May 2010. Since then, H2 has grown its network with additional chapters in major technology centers across Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

The India Chapter was started in 2012 by Anupam Mittal (CEO of People Group) & Samir Bangara (Co-founder Qyuki Digital Media) who served as the Chapter’s founding Co-Chairs from 2012-2015. They were followed by Ashish Kashyap & Kirthiga Reddy (2015-2017).

Swati Bhargava, Co-chair said, “As entrepreneurs, leveraging the right networks is an essential part of our journey. It is only through the peer exchange of experiences, insights, and passions that we learn and grow together. I have always admired the camaraderie that entrepreneurs in the Valley share with each other and I’m excited to lead an organization that is trying to do the same in India.

Neeraj echoed the same sentiment saying, “India is the 2nd largest digital market in the world and we have seen a spurt in tech entrepreneurship. The next few years is going to be about partnerships and collaborations between technology startups and industry globally and H2 is a proven model for success in enabling the same. Am delighted to help lead H2’s activities in India and look forward to working with all our Chapters across the world.”

Nayan Patel, Co-founder & CEO of H2, said, “I’m excited to welcome Swati and Neeraj into leadership positions for our India Chapter. We look forward to the continued growth of our Chapter across the key hubs of Mumbai, Delhi-NCR and Bangalore and engagement in both our local and global programs over the period ahead.”

Ashish Kashyap, Founder & CEO, Ibibio Group, said, “I think H2 is an excellent platform to bring digital entrepreneurs and technology industry leaders together. H2 makes for a valuable ecosystem that allows for the exchange of knowledge, opportunities, successes, and failures in an intimate manner.”
