Kolkata-based cybersecurity startup IEM Labs has launched a plagiarism checker and AI-powered content creation software.
The company said in a statement that the plagiarism checker, called IEMSecure, can scan 10 billion sources in just a few seconds, while the AI writer can create content in 50 languages.
Mainly used by educational institutions and media companies, the plagiarism checker is able to check for plagiarism and source code, and notify users if the content matches that of any other website. The program also identifies grammatical errors and suggests corrections.
The AI writer built by the company, apart from automating the process of creating influencer content, is also helping to turn large pieces of content into a concise summary, something Google also recently demonstrated at its I/O 2022 conference.
The services are freely available for regular users, but have a small fee for corporate use. The company said it will provide around-the-clock customer support for services.
“An AI writer is a unique and local product because it not only writes content, but creates content with appropriate expression,” Hrithik Lal, chief technical officer of IEMA Research and Development said in the statement.
