India’s leading auto­rickshaw aggregator, Jugnoo has partnered with Freecharge, India’s fastest growing digital payments platform to ease the payment process of commuters via the latter’s swift and secure digital wallet.

This partnership will enable more than 12, 000 auto­rickshaws across 40 cities in India to go cashless by opting the Freecharge wallet option. It will also help in augmenting Jugnoo’s services and maximizing its business reach across the subcontinent. Furthermore, this latest service will play a vital role in encouraging customers to go cashless for their daily commute.

With its user base of 3.5 million, Jugnoo is currently recording an average of 40,000 daily transactions. Moreover, with Freecharge’s focus on creating a great UI/UX experience for customers to help them move away from cash to e­cash, Jugnoo can leverage the best­in­class payment gateway from the former, and offer a swift and secure way of daily commute to its customers.

Jugnoo, a Chandigarh based company, was established in the year 2014. It has over 12,000 autos empanelled under the brand at present. The startup has its presence in 40 cities. Founded by Samar Singla and Chinmay Agarwal, the company is targeting the students, working professionals, and masses that are dependent on public transport for their daily convey.
