Campus 365 Has Raised Rs 21.5M

The latest round of funding will be used by the company to accelerate the development and rollout of new product offerings, increase its school network in Tier II and III cities

Educational technology start-up Campus 365 has raised INR 21.5 million in seed funding, led by Angle Investors based out of Bangalore, making them the first Ed Tech company to raise funds in 2022.

The latest round of funding will be used by the company to accelerate the development and rollout of new product offerings, increase its school network in Tier II and III cities, hire talent across domains, and make strategic acquisitions.

The company was founded in the year 2017 by Mayank Singh, Sandeep Verma, and Shashank Trivedi, a group of friends who sought out to fill the gaps in education and the need for a tight-knit structure that requires close interaction between the administration, parents, students, and teachers. The platform is a SaaS (Software as a Service) integrated system that assists schools with curriculum, teaching methods, and vendor resources, allowing students to have a holistic learning experience that prepares them for the future.

The tech-enabled company brings a new mode of learning with the use of technology to students and the administration alike. It has several helpful features that track the students’ productivity and grades while also having a concise system that tracks grades, reports, assignments, and so on. It is meant to be used by anyone who is associated with the schooling system and does so while leaving a hassle-free experience by providing simplified solutions. It provides an online and hybrid model (physical and digital) in classrooms for students from kindergarten to the 12th grade.

The platform has been able to show visible improvement in students' learning with its curriculum, it said. Class averages improved from below 50% to above 75% after its adoption, Sandeep and Shashank said.

The company covers over 1,000 schools and 400,000 students in the country and aims to cater to 30,000 institutes in the next five years.

If there are people who have great solutions for students but are unable to build a reach, we can do that for them, Shashank said. It will continue to be in the K-12 segment.

"We are eagerly looking forward to reaching out to the 1.5 million schools and 260 million school-going children in India so that we can transform the arc of education in this country. Our investors are known as a specialised EdTech fund that backs innovation-oriented education companies. We hope to benefit from their deep insights and leverage their network to bring more innovation to our students in India," said Mayank Singh, co-founder and chief executive officer, Campus 365.
