Ola, India's leading ride-sharing platform, is now available in Adelaide following successful launches in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Over 40,000 driver-partners across Australia have registered on the Ola platform within just five months of launch, completing over 1,500,000 rides. The online cab aggregator, which entered Australia on January 30, is continuing its mission to provide the best ride share experience across seven major metropolitan cities.
Newly appointed Managing Director for Ola Australia, Simon Smith said, “The milestone of facilitating over one and a half million rides is testament to passengers and driver-partners choosing Ola over competitors. We are excited to launch in our seventh metro city in a matter of months, as we continue our expansion across the country and provide a better rideshare experience for all Australians.”
To celebrate its launch in Adelaide, Ola is offering discounted rides from today. Customers can download the Ola app either from Google Play or iOS App Store, register for an Ola account and begin booking rides.
Over the coming months, Ola is working with local stakeholders to continue its rollout in Australia, with future launch cities including Darwin and Hobart.
Using the Ola mobile app, users across 110+ cities, can connect with over 1,000,000 driver-partners across cabs, auto-rickshaws, and taxis.
