ANS Commerce Eyeing INR 500 Cr GMV In The Next One Year

With reports suggesting an 88% increase in consumer demand for D2C brands/products, ANS Commerce plans to leverage this surge in demand to act as a catalyst for its business and revenue growth.

Anyone following the startup ecosystem will be aware of the D2C wave that has swept through the country. Having picked up pace amidst the pandemic and the subsequent lockdowns, the D2C wave has led more and more businesses to jump on the bandwagon and it is here to stay as startups on the block are keen on leveraging it to drive business growth. Against this backdrop, ANS Commerce, a full-stack e-commerce enablement startup, riding the D2C wave, is aiming to reach INR 500 Cr GMV over the next year.

With reports suggesting an 88% increase in consumer demand for D2C brands/products, ANS Commerce plans to leverage this surge in demand to act as a catalyst for its business and revenue growth. Having nearly 30 D2C brands already on board its platform, ANS Commerce plans to onboard another 50+ brands over the next year, targeting approximately 30% of its overall business revenue to stem from the D2C brands.

Commenting on this, Amit Monga, Co-founder of ANS Commerce said, “The D2C segment has become one of the most lucrative and the past year has seen an uptick in the number of D2C brands emerging in the startup ecosystem. With brands increasingly adopting a D2C strategy to forge a direct connection between themselves and the customers, they will improve brand salience and differentiation. Besides, the emergence of Thrasio-equivalent companies in India will only lead more brands to foray into this segment, thereby creating a virtuous cycle for the D2C space. The next wave of D2C will be cross-border and we will be seeing Indian D2C brands venturing into foreign markets and foreign D2C brands entering the Indian market. ANS Commerce is aiming to leverage this D2C boom to drive growth in business and revenue and scale up. We will be adding more D2C brands to our portfolio over the next year to achieve this.”
